| The transcript lists the complete academic record of students. Students may obtain a copy of their transcript from the Office of the University Registrar by completing a request form. There is a charge of $10 per transcript. An official transcript is one that bears the seal of the University and the signature of the University Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are given to or sent directly to students and carry the notation UNOFFICIAL COPY. Transcripts will not be issued for students who have failed to meet their financial obligation to the University.
How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?
Forms can be picked up in the Office of the University Registrar in the lower level of Levermore Hall in Garden City. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.. Forms can also be picked up in the Manhattan Center Campus on 75 Varick Street, 2nd Floor.
To request a University transcript by mail, download and print the Transcript Request (PDF 28KB), or send a letter which includes the following information:
- Full name (include previous last name if applicable)
- Social Security Number
- Years of attendance
- Date of degree if earned prior to 1977
- Exact address of where transcript is to be sent
- Your signature (We are unable to release your transcript without a signature)
