How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?
All transcript requests must be made in writing. As faxed documents can be electronically altered, Adelphi University will not accept faxed requests for transcripts nor will we fax a transcript from the office. Please be aware of this procedure to effectively establish an acceptable time frame in which your transcript request can be processed.
Forms can be picked up in the Office of the University Registrar in the lower level of Levermore Hall in Garden City. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Forms can also be picked up in the Manhattan Center Campus on 75 Varick Street, 2nd Floor.
To request a University transcript by mail, download and print the Transcript Request (PDF 28KB), or send a letter which includes the following information:
- Full name (include previous last name if applicable)
- Social Security Number
- Years of attendance
- Date of degree if earned prior to 1977
- Exact address of where transcript is to be sent
- Your signature (We are unable to release your transcript without a signature)
Is there a fee for a transcript?
Yes. Please include payment of $10 per transcript. Make checks payable to Adelphi University.
Transcripts will not be released until all financial obligations to the University have been met.
