You can find general information about Adelphi's Summer Sessions on the Summer Session Web site.
Registration and Tuition
Registration Limit
The registration limit is 6 credits per summer session. New York State guidelines suggest a maximum of 6 credits during each five-week session or a total of 12 credits during the entire summer.
Registration Requirements
All students registering for courses must meet all financial obligations relating to the registration, be in compliance with the New York State Immunization Law, and meet all the course requirements (prerequisites and other conditions stated in the course schedule) before signing the registration form. The University reserves the rights to enforce all regulations related to registration at any time.
Students who have blocks on their registration must have them cleared by the registration deadline date in order to register. Seats will not be saved in any class for a student who has a block. Course availability will be determined as of the day the block is cleared, not the day the registration was received (unless received after the block is cleared). This includes immunization, admissions, academic, and financial blocks. No exceptions will be made.
Please Note: New York State Immunization Law requires all students registered for 6 or more credits, born after 1956, to prove immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. Course registration and attendance at Adelphi University will not be possible without clearance by the Health Services Center.
