Students completing a New York State registered teacher education program may obtain an application through the School of Education offices. For more information about requirements and procedures, please visit the School of Education website.
Important Update:
Teacher Certifications Issued with Incorrect Effective Dates
(N.Y. State Education Department Error)
Students who have received certificates effective 9/1/06, but should have received certificates effective 2/1/06 can exchange the certificate as follows:
Make a copy of the certificate
Return the original certificate with a note to:
