Adelphi shares parents desire to help students succeed. However, this is a time of transition for parents too. To help parents understand more about Adelphi and college life, the University sponsors a Parent Orientation, encourages involvement in the Parents Association, and produces Panther Parent, a newsletter designed for students' families.
Parents can direct any comments or questions to parents@adelphi.edu.

Parent Orientation
Parent Orientation is held on the first day of Freshman Orientation. Through workshops and meetings with faculty and administration, parents learn how to become an integral part of their child's college experience.

Parents Association
Parents are encouraged to get involved with the Adelphi's Parents Association. They automatically become a member once a son or daughter enrolls.
Parents of upper class students are committed to sharing their advice and firsthand knowledge with parents of freshmen, so that they can support their sons and daughters throughout their college experience. The Association holds meetings and sponsors fund-raising activities.

Panther Parent
Students are too busy to tell their parents everything that is happening on campus. Panther Parent keeps parents up-to-date on the academic, social and athletic news at Adelphi.
